CMH Builders is again collecting food donations this holiday season to benefit two local food pantries: the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry and Active Grace.
The Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry supports all Avon Community School Corporation employees and families who have a child in the Avon Community School Corporation. Active Grace, located in Camby, IN, serves all of central Indiana, helping to bring individuals out of poverty and homelessness.
“We look forward to collecting donations every year, and we’re proud that we have grown our efforts with each Annual Food Drive,” said owner of CMH Builders, Craig Huckstep. “This year, we’ll be collecting donations for two great organizations, which means we’ll be helping more people than ever before.”
Alongside CMH Builders’ employees, vendors, and clients, the public is invited to participate in this year’s food drive. All canned and non-perishable items will be collected; however, the items listed below are most in need because they will be used to create care packages for students during the two-week holiday break.
Specific items needed:
- Single serving mac & cheese
- Cereal
- Hot cocoa mix
- Cheese/peanut butter sandwich crackers
- Soup
- Granola bars
- Fruit snacks
- Rice Crispy Treats
- Pudding cups
- Fruit cups
- Cans of pasta, ravioli, SpaghettiOs, etc.
Donations can be dropped off or scheduled for pick-up now through Thursday, December 8th. Donations may be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm at the CMH Builders office, located at 8847 Commerce Park Place, Suite J, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
