CMH Builders Collects Food Items for Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry

Here at CMH Builders, we pride ourselves on “The CMH Difference.” This can be defined in a few different ways, but if you break it down to the lowest common denominator, it is doing the right thing 100% of the time. It is in the spirit of “The CMH Difference” that we were proud to participate in a food drive for the Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry this past holiday season.

Through the generous support of our employees, customers and our partnering vendors like Catapult Technology Solutions, we were able to deliver a truck-and-a-half load of food items just in time for the holidays. The Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry supports all Avon Community School Corporation Employees and families that have a child in the Avon Community School Corporation.

“2020 was a different year for all most of us, but for some people in our community, it meant not knowing where their next meal was going to come from or when,” said CMH Builders owner Craig Huckstep who grew up in Avon.

CMH Builders has tradition of supporting local food banks. This was the first year CMH partnered with Mary Lee Maier Community Pantry for a holiday food drive.

“We are both humbled and proud to be able to provide supplies that will help feed those families in need in our community,” said John Prewitt, CMH Builders general manager. “We look forward to helping fight hunger in our community again next holiday season.”
