Hello, and welcome back!

In this owner’s blog, I would like to tell you a little bit more about one of the parts of CMH that makes us different from many of our competitors. At CMH, we have a fully stocked showroom that has options for each portion of the basement we will be building for you. We also have a full-time designer who works in the showroom, assisting each client with their selections for their upcoming project.

Several years ago, I decided that it would be a great benefit to both CMH and our clients to have our own showroom. This would eliminate the need for folks to drive all over the city looking at different components of their basement – going to see tile, carpet, LVP, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, and paint, among other items needed for their project, would be a time-consuming, and potentially overwhelming chore.

Working with CMH, our designer helps pull all of the colors and textures together to meet your specific design tastes. It also saves time and allows us to move your project along to the next phase.

The other advantage is that one person coordinates all of the selections with our purchasing team, helping to eliminate errors that may occur when working with multiple suppliers. We streamline that process, removing one more potential setback from your basement.

CMH Builders Showroom

Over the years, we have heard many times from our clients about how much they loved having a place to come and make all of the design choices. Many of our competitors require clients to visit a big-box hardware store or local material suppliers on their own. This never made much sense to me. It puts a lot of pressure on an individual to make decisions without feeling 100% confident that everything will work together once all the selections are made. I wanted to remove that stress and uncertainty for our clients and help guide them through this process.

Needless to say, multiple clients have told us afterward how much they enjoyed working with the designer and how helpful it was to have a trained person working with them. We routinely update the showroom with new items to try and keep up with the latest trends in our industry.
